The aMAZEing Labyrinth $15
Very clever game of an ever-shifting maze. The board is made up
of 49 tiles (some of which are immovable) each showing a
passageway. Every turn, you place the "extra" tile along one of
the edges and slide all the other tiles in that row. This creates
new paths and hopefully you've created a route so that your wizard
can collect the next ingredient in his magic potion.
Complete and in excellent condition.

 |
Amoeba Wars $15
Amoeba Wars is a fast, exciting game of galactic
struggle for 2-6 players. Game time averages between one
and three hours. Each player assumes the role of a Space Lord.
His objective is to capture Saestor, the old capital of the
Empire. Not only must he be prepared to battle the Space Amoebas,
but he must also be ready to fight competing Space Lords to win.
Good planning and calculated risks must be utilized to take
Saestor. But be careful, a marauding Doomsday Machine may appear
at any time to disrupt any well-laid plans.
Contents are complete and in excellent condition. The Special
Power cards are still unpunched. The box is in good condition but
has a moderate amount of wear on the corners.
|
 |
Axis & Allies $20
Popular Milton Bradley game recreating World War II for 2-5
players. Each player controls one of the major countries in the
war (Russia, UK, Germany, Japan or the US) and directs all their
actions including national production. Axis & Allies is
perfect for someone looking for a game similar to Risk but
with more complexity and detail.
The box is in good condition with scuffing around the corners.
The components are complete and in very good condition.
|
 |
Boat Wars $10
Boat Wars is an expansion for Car Wars that takes
the action off the roads and onto the water. To my mind it is a
perfect example of an "expansion too far" as it adds features and
complexity to a game that didn't really require it. Recommended
only to completists of Car Wars or the Pocket Box games.
Complete and in excellent condition. There is a very slight
wrinkle on the front cover and minor bubbling on the back. This
version of the Pocket Box features the "clip-less" enclosure.
Uncut counters.
|
 |
Can't Stop (5 Player Expansion) $3

Carcassonne: The Discovery $18
Carcassonne: The Discovery is a variant on the original
played at a larger scale: tiles show seas, grasslands and
mountains (with completed cities already built upon them).
Grasslands score for the number of tiles, mountains score for the
number of adjacent cities and seas score for both.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Code Cracker $12
Code Cracker is a simple, push-your-luck dice game for
1-6 players. On your turn, you roll all five dice and try to
assign these dice to one of the three face-up "safes" in the
middle of the table. As long as you are able to assign at least
one die per roll, you are permitted to re-roll all the others.
Once all the numbers on a safe are covered, its code is cracked
and the rewards are yours! Note however, that only the final
player to crack the code gets any of the loot, so you must be
careful not to let subsequent players reap the benefits of your
hard work.
Still in its original shrink-wrap.

Clue: DVD Game $25
Who, what, where and when? The usual suspects are wreaking
havoc at Tudor Mansion and Scotland Yard needs your help! Can you
crack these challenging interactive cases, plus unlimited others
in the special bonus game?
The DVD brings you inside Tudor Mansion where Inspector Brown
is waiting with information on events of the day. Ashe the Butler
is also there, ready to share some clues of his own. Remember to
stay alert! You never know what you'll find in a room or run
across in a Secret Passage. Like classic Clue, you'll make
Suggestions, but in Clue DVD your Accusations are made
secretly using the DVD. And keep that Red Reader close at hand...
there are secrets in these cases and information you'll need to
decipher.
Complete and in excellent condition. The pieces are still
sealed in their original plastic.
|
 |
Da Vinci's Challenge $10
Da Vinci's Challenge is an abstract game of pattern
creation. On a turn, you'll place either an oval or a triangle of
your colour on the board. The object is to create as many "secret
shapes" as you can. There are nine different shapes and it's
possible to create several with a single play (and very satisfying
when you do). For two or four players.
Complete and in excellent condition. The pieces are still
sealed in their original plastic.

Diplomacy $45
Diplomacy is a classic game, but not for the faint of
heart. At its core, it's a very simple wargame — 36 armies and
fleets maneuver around Europe during the 1900's. Your goal as one
of the seven major powers is to capture 18 of the 36 supply
centers. However, given that there is no luck and that moves are
simultaneous, this will be very difficult to achieve without help.
And this is where the game gets its name (and its decidedly nasty
nature). The heart of Diplomacy is in the negotiation phase
where you secretly discuss and formulate your plans with the other
players. Scheming, manipulation, deceit and treachery are all to
be expected. It is possible to play (and win!) while remaining
scrupulously honest, but betrayal is the more common path to
victory.
This is the 1999 Avalon Hill (Hasbro) version which
features metal pieces.
Complete and in excellent condition. The box has several small
nicks and scratches.

|
Greed $5
Greed is a proprietary version of the dice game commonly known
as "10,000".
Each turn a player will start by rolling all six dice. He or
she will then set aside some of these so long as those set aside
form one of the scoring combinations. (If unable to do so, the
turn is over and no points are scored.) The rest of the dice are
re-rolled with the same criteria. Once you've scored at least 500
points, you have the option of stopping and permanently keeping
these accumulated points. The first player to score 5000 points
wins!

HeroScape $35
HeroScape is a simple miniatures game depicting "the
battle for all-time". The combatants range from ancient vikings to
World War II veterans to robots from the future!
The game comes with an amazing number of plastic pieces — it's
literally a puzzle trying to get everything back in the box. There
are 30 miniatures and 85 plastic terrain pieces that are used to
create a multi-level battlefield. It's quite common to purchase
multiple sets so as to build bigger and bigger landscapes on which
to fight.
Complete and in excellent condition, some of the parts are
still sealed in their original plastic. The box has scuffing
on the corners.

 |
In The Year Of the Dragon $25
In this game, each player takes on the role of a Chinese
prince, seeking to maximize the prosperity and prestige of his
province in the ancient China of approximately 1,000 A.D. To
assist in these endeavours, the princes must call upon the diverse
talents of their courtiers; from scholars and monks to warriors
and craftsmen. These loyal subjects will lend their expertise to
the struggle to shield their rulers from the often disastrous
consequences of the myriad events that plague the populace. Be it
drought, contagion or Mongol invasion, only foresight and planning
will spare the princes and their subjects from these fates.
In the Year of the Dragon is the twelfth game in Alea's
big-box series and is for 2-5 players with a playing time of
75-100 minutes.
Complete and in excellent condition.

Knock! Knock! $5
Who's there? It's Halloween and everyone is throwing parties.
But no one wants to make a monster mistake and go to a dead party
— their lives wouldn't have a ghost of a chance after that! The
questions is: Can you have the coolest, hippest, most rockin'
Halloween party in town?
Knock! Knock! is a game of bluff where players send
partygoers to other players to see if they are welcomed or
rejected. Is the guest cool or a geek? Will they help make a
bigger, better party or drive people away?
Complete and in excellent condition, cards are
shrink-wrapped.

|
Log Jam $15
Log Jam is a cute dexterity game for kids ages 4+. 42
logs of different colours have dammed a river and the beaver
responsible sits proudly atop his work. On a turn, you'll use the
wooden stick to try to remove one of the logs. Careful though,
because if you disturb the beaver (he's electronic and sensitive
to sudden movement), he'll noisily complain and you'll lose your
turn.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Lord of the Rings $25
Lord of the Rings is a cooperative game for 2-5 players.
Each takes the role of a hobbit travelling throughout Middle Earth
with the ultimate goal of destroying the One Ring at Mount Doom.
Players will have to collectively defeat the challenges they face
with the aid of friends and allies. While using the One Ring can
get you out of a tight spot, its corrupting influence cannot be
underestimated. Lord of the Rings' level of difficulty can
be modified for an easier, or more challenging, game.
Complete and in very good condition.
|
 |
Lord of the Rings $15
Although both are designed by Reiner Knizia, this should not be
confused with the other, cooperative Lord of the Rings
game. This is much simpler and is recommended for ages 6+.
(There is an "advanced" version, but it does not add much
complexity to the game.)
Complete and in very good condition.
|

|
Master Labyrinth $15
Very cool game set in an ever-shifting maze. The board is a 7x7

|
Moto Grand Prix $45
Moto Grand Prix is a simple motorcycle racing simulation
that's heavy on the dice, but very easy on the eyes. I'm not sure
how much strategy can be employed, but the game is absolutely
gorgeous. From the thick tiles used to lay out the course, to the
dashboards that record your current status, to the detailed
motorcycles that swivel to indicate leans or wheelies —
everything is top-notch.
Complete and in excellent condition.

— you love it.

with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends
compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic
items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield
the Staff of Napalm... or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody
Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the
Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon...
Complete and in good condition. There is noticeable sun-fading
along one edge of the box.

Pampas Railroads $55
Pampas Railroads is the fourth entry in Winsome Games'
Prairie Railroads series with Argentina as its setting. This very
small-run game features production values that can most charitably
be described as functional. Despite this, it is a well-regarded
game for the "build track and issue stock" enthusiast.
Complete and in excellent condition, includes appropriately
coloured crayons. This copy is from the June, 2009 reprint.
|

|
Penguin $15

matches colour with one of the penguins directly below. The object
is to place all your penguins and you receive penalty points if
you fail to do so. You play one round for each player in the game
and whoever has the fewest penalty points at the end wins!
Complete and in excellent condition.

 |
Pit $8
"Two! Two! TWO!!"
An incredible, fast-paced trading game that
accurately simulates the (seemingly) chaotic stock market
trading floors. With the right crowd, this can be an unforgettable
experience. Pit is the only game that nearly caused me to
pass out.
This version features the bell (a must in my opinion) and is
complete and in fair condition.

Shakespeare: The Bard Game puts players in the role of theatre
company managers who must produce plays in England during the 1600s. You'll

|
 |
Shogun $50
Shogun is Dirk Henn's retheming of his earlier
Wallenstein to Japan during the Sengoku period. While it is
generally considered a "Eurogame", it has definite wargame
leanings as it involves the type of direct conflict more
associated with the latter than the former. The "cube tower"
method of resolving battles may annoy more serious wargamers, but
Shogun is as concerned with how efficiently you rule your
provinces as it is about how many you conquer.
Complete and in excellent condition.
|
 |
Smokers Wild $20
Smokers Wild is a blend of fun and macabre humour
derived from one of the world's worst habits — smoking!
The game is a king-sized spoof on smoking and the tobacco
industry. All players start the game as healthy and wealthy
non-smokers. But a roll of the dice could turn anyone into a
four-pack-a-day smoker of zany cigarette brands. During the game,
players will also have various roles to play: The Undertaker (Doug
Graves), The Doctor (Mel Practice), The Tax Man (Owen Moore) and
so on. These crazy characters will involve you in some very funny
(and not-so-funny) situations when you collect Koffs (money) from
other players or have to 'cough up' some of your own.
Complete and in excellent condition.
